ថ្ងៃទី ១៧ ខែ ឧសភា ឆ្នាំ ២០២៣ មន្ត្រីនៃមន្ទីរកសិកម្ម រុក្ខាប្រមាញ់ និងនេសាទ (PDAFF) ខេត្តកំពង់ចាម បានចែកសំបុកឃ្មុំ និងពូជឃ្មុំ ដល់សហគមន៍កសិកម្មស្ទឹងត្រង់សែនជ័យ ឃុំសុភាស ស្រុកស្ទឹងត្រង់ ខេត្តកំពង់ចាម។
ឃ្មុំមានតួនាទីយ៉ាងសំខាន់នៅក្នុងប្រព័ន្ធអេកូឡូស៊ីត្រូពិច ប៉ុន្តែការប្រមូលផលទឹកឃ្មុំដែលគ្មាននិរន្តរភាពធ្វើឱ្យប្រជាជនក្នុងតំបន់ទទួលរងផលប៉ះពាល់។ ឃ្មុំកំពុង "បាត់បង់ " ជាបណ្តើរៗ នៅពេលដែលភាពចម្រុះនៃអេកូឡូស៊ីធ្លាក់ចុះ ហើយការប្រមូលផលទឹកឃ្មុំទៀតសោតបានអនុវត្តតាមបែបប្រពៃណី ដែលជាហេតុនាំឱ្យមានការបំផ្លេចបំផ្លាញដល់ហ្វូងឃ្មំទាំងមូល ។
ទោះបីជាមានការធ្លាក់ចុះនូវមរិមាណឃ្មុំក៏ដោយ ប៉ុន្តែឃ្មំនៅតែមានសក្តានុពលនៅលើទីផ្សារអន្តរជាតិសម្រាប់ទឹកឃ្មុំកម្ពុជា តែវាក៏នឹងត្រូវការរយៈពេលពី៥ ទៅ១០ ឆ្នាំ ដើម្បីចិញ្ចឹមវាបាន។ ក្នុងភាពជាដៃគូជាមួយធនាគារពិភពលោក ក្រសួងកសិកម្ម រុក្ខាប្រមាញ់ និងនេសាទ (MAFF) បានចាប់ផ្តើមអនុវត្តគម្រោងឃ្មុំ តាមរយៈគម្រោងពិពិធកម្មកសិកម្មកម្ពុជា (CASDP) ដោយផ្តល់ជំនួយឥតសំណង ៤០% សម្រាប់ការកែលម្អប្រព័ន្ធខ្សែសង្វាក់តម្លៃផលិតកម្មឃ្មុំឱ្យកាន់តែប្រសើរឡើង ដើម្បីផ្គត់ផ្គង់ទីផ្សារក្នុងស្រុក និងអន្តរជាតិ។
ក្រៅពីនេះ កសិករចិញ្ចឹមឃ្មុំទាំងនេះនឹងទទួលបានការណែនាំ និងការបណ្តុះបណ្តាលបន្តទៀតលើបច្ចេកទេសចិញ្ចឹមឃ្មុំ និងមានផ្តល់ការគាំទ្រហេដ្ឋារចនាសម្ព័ន្ធផងដែរ។ តើមានថ្ងៃណាដែលល្អជាងថ្ងៃទី១៧ ខែឧសភានេះដែលយើងគួរអបអរ? គម្រោងចិញ្ចឹមឃ្មុំជាផែនការធុរកិច្ចមួយក្នុងចំណោមផែនការផ្សេងទៀតដែលគាំទ្រដោយគម្រោង CASDP ដែលបានដើរតួនាទីសំខាន់ក្នុងវិស័យកសិកម្មប្រកបដោយនិរន្តរភាព ហើយការចិញ្ចឹមឃ្មុំក៏បានផ្តល់ការងារដ៏សំខាន់នៅក្នុងសហគមន៍ជនបទ។ សមាជិក AC ចំនួន ១៧១នាក់ សមាជិក ៧១នាក់ជាស្ត្រី នឹងទទួលផលពីការអនុវត្តគម្រោងចិញ្ចឹមឃ្មុំនេះ។

On May 17, 2023, PDAFF officials distributed beekeepers and beehives to Stung Trang Senchey Agricultural Cooperative in Sopheas commune, Stung Trang district, Kampong Cham province.
Honeybees have a considerable role in tropical ecosystems, but unsustainable honey harvesting hurts the local population. Bees are “losing ground” as ecological diversity slips and as traditional honey-hunting practices, which can wipe out entire colonies, continues.
Despite the decline, there is still potentially an international market for Cambodian honey, but it will require five- to 10-year programs. In partnership with the World Bank, the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries (MAFF) started a honeybee project through Cambodia Agricultural Sector Diversification Project (CASDP), providing a 40% matching grant for better improvement of honeybee production value chain to supply the local and international markets.
Beyond beekeeping, these new beekeepers received ongoing mentorship and training on beekeeping techniques and provided support, infrastructure, etc.
What better day to celebrate honeybees and beekeepers than May 17? Bee is one of the other business plans supported by CASDP that play an essential role in sustainable agriculture, and beekeeping is a crucial provider of jobs in rural communities. This project will benefit 171 ac members, 71 members as women.
